Eligibility

Organizations are eligible to participate in the Festival in one or more of the following ways:
- By producing art that includes artists with disabilities
- By presenting art produced by artists with disabilities
- By producing or presenting art based on the experience of disability
- By producing or presenting art for which the organization works to provide accessibility to patrons with disabilities. Ideally, accessibility should be beyond simple wheelchair access to the venue unless the organization is spotlighting a newly renovated space with first-time wheelchair access.
Art produced for the festival can be inclusive, that is, featuring artists with disabilities working with those without disabilities. The artistic acheivement of the artists, not the disability, is of primary importance. The artists featured do not have to be living to be included; work by renowned artists with disabilities throughout history will also be highlighted.
